Welcome can be an overused term. What church would not want to be welcoming? Perhaps a better way to express it, is that we seek to live out a faith that doesn’t care who you love, who you voted for, where you’ve been, how you’ve messed up … well, of course we care, but we want to be a place where you find a warm welcome without needing to have everything together or be worried about encountering shame and blame.
