Fr. Craig has been with us since June, 2025 and brings with him big and hopeful energy for the people of St. John’s and bold dreams for its future. His homilies are extemporaneous and seek to warm the heart and inspire the mind. He believes deeply that we find in the Episcopal Church what we have called The Middle Way, the Via Media, where we can find a home that embraces both tradition and authentically being present in our (post) modern culture.
Fr. Craig invites you to join us for a “pre-coffee hour” at 8:30 am where we meet over coffee and something of the breakfast pastry pursuasion. Our service starts at 9:00 and ends at 10:04 🙂 with a classic Episcopal Eucharistic service every Sunday.
We are blessed to have the talented Doni Bundros on organ and piano. Musically inclined members share their talents as soloists and in ensembles for special services.
In 2015, St. John’s was fortunate to receive the gift of a wonderful two-manual pipe organ that was donated by a family in Morgan Hill who appreciated the work and music ministry of St. John’s and its commitment in leading Christian worship. The inspiration for the beautiful cherry hardwood organ case came from the Metzler organ at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Medina, WA., where Richard Proulx was Minister of Music during the 1970’s and was a mentor to the builder when he was a student in Seattle. This lovely small instrument, perfect for the size of our sanctuary, has added a significant and meaningful dimension to our music ministry.
